r TRINITY WIN WENHAM CUP The final of the Wanganui Indoor Bowling Association’s Wenham Cup competition was staged last night and resulted in a surprise win for Trinity Club (J. Fleming), who defeated M.U. by 32 points to 15. In the semifinal M.U. beat Power Board. Results of the second round of the champion of champions pairs competition are:—A.O.F. beat. Aramoho Druids; Fire Auxiliary lost to M.U. Lodge; Cosmopolitan beat Power Board; Fire Brigade beat Bishop Ledge. The draw for the semi-final to bn -played on or before Thursday, is: M.U. Lodge v. A.O.F. Lodge, Fire Brigade v. Cosmopolitan. In the champion of champions singles competition the first round results arc: M.U. Lodge (J. Kirk) beat Aramoho Druids (R. Green). 16-14 after a great tussle, Bishon Lodge (J. Turkington) lost to Cosmopolitan (11. Rogerson). The second round draw to bo played by October 1. is: Fire Brigade v. A.O.F. Lodge. JTvlton Lodge v. Fire Auxiliary. Trinity v. Power Board, Cosmopolitan v. M.U. Lodge.
