TWO JUNKERS SHOT DOWN
(Recd. 9 p.m.) Rugby, Sept. 24. The Air Ministry announced that two Beaufightera of the Coastal Command patrolling the Bay of Biscay today intercepted four Junkers 88s and shot two of them into the sea. The other two escaped into the cover of clouds.—B.O.W.
