READY FOR LONG WAR
JAP ADMIRAL’S EOAST (Recd. 8.35 p.m.) London, Sept. 24. • “Japan is ready for a long war,” declared Admiral Nomura, who is heading a Japanese naval mission to Rome. Admiral Nomura, quoted by Rome J radio, aded: “Enormous quantities jP of raw materials were accumulated * from conquered territories and an inexhaustible reserve of manpower will enable Japan to maintain a long war if England and America plan along those lines.”
