SALE OF LIQUID PARAFFIN
(P.A.) Wellington, Sept. 24. ° A notice gazetted to-night places restrictions on the packing of liquid paraffin. The Minister of Supply, Hon. D. G. Sullivan, said the intention was to pivhbit the retail sale of liquid paraffin in any container having a capacity greater than eight , fluid ounces. Restrictions were also placed on the manufacture ot any paraffin emulsion containing over 25 per cent, by volume, of liquid paraffin, except emulsions prescribed by registered medical practitioners. These restrictions had been considered necessary in order that existing low stocks o? liquid paraffin may be conserved.
