THREE BRITONS IN FOUR FIFTY-SIX-HOUR WEEK London, Sept. 23. Britain now has three out of every four available people mobilised on war work—a bigger proportion than any other country. This was revealed in a broadcast to-day by the Minister of Labour, Mr. Ernest Bevin. He said there werc*33,ooo,ooo peoplein Britain between the ages of 14 ano 6.5, and of these 25,500,000 were now in the forces or in full-time work ol national importance.
