I „ MEDITERRANEAN FLEET Alexandria, May 19. Admiral Sir Andrew Cunningham, ' in a farewell message to the Mediterranean Fleet, said:— “It has been my greatest pride that, !1 throughout the war the Meditere ranean Fleet has consistently shown ‘ itself master of the enemy in all branches of naval warfare. This has enabled us for two years to impose our will on the enemy to a very high degree, despite his superiority in every class of ship and his almost overwhelming air strength.” ’
