NEW HARBOUR CHAIRMAN
HON. W. J. ROGERS ELECTED ! I On the motion of Mr. D. Dwyer, 1 seconded by Mr. J. J. Scott, the Hon. ( W. J. Rogers, M.L.C., was elected ( chairman of the Wanganui Harbour I Board yesterday. He succeeds Mr. D. I Ross, who recently resigned from the ( board after acting on medical advice. T Mr. Dwyer was elected deputy- c chairman. ( Tributes were paid to the interest Mr. Rogers had always taken in har- ; hour affairs.
