In addition Io the raid on Lae aerodrome mentioned in Saturday s Allied Headquarters’ communique, Sunday's f* communique gives details of three more raid-. It says: Our Air Force - attacked Lae aerodrome three times. Eight Japanese bombers were destroyed on the ground and hits were >y made on anti-aircraft positions, runst ways and buildings. Numerous fires ie were started. One Zero was shot r- down. At Deboyne Island an en/my ut seaplane was damaged in an attack i'- by Allied bombers.
