'■ Asked about the Pacific Council's '' admonition about loose talk, President Roosevelt said it was quite customary for him to lecture on the 11 danger oi loose talk in wartime and added sharply: “There is more of it '■ in Washington than in all the rest ~ of the country put together. Such lectures as that given by the Pacific e ' Council are much needed." Mr. Roosevelt indicated that Wednesday's admonition bad been directed not only at loose talk in Washington. IC but said he had mentioned the Far E as t. Told that Mr. Curtin had said Mr. Roosevelt was not referring to him, the President asserted that his words were aimed not alone at Australia, p but at India, Egypt, and South America and, in fact, every continent. “And at Capitol Hill?” a reporter inquired. . r “That's included in the District of ,Columbia," Mr. Roosevelt, replied.
