Lieut. F. J Jacobs, of Wanganui, has been seconded Lor duty with the New Zealand Dental states the New Zealand Gazette. Lieut. F. P. Koorey, Wanganui, serving overseas with the 2nd. N.Z.E.F., has been promoted to the rank of captain, states the New Zealand Gazette. Second-Lieutenant G. E. Beamish, the official New Zealand war correspondent. has been promoted to lieutenant, states the New Zealand Gazette. Mr. W. Goodfellow, managingdirector of Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., who has been on a business trip to Australia, has returned to the Dominion. Mr. W. Marshall, chairman of directors of the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Co., Ltd., has returned to the Dominion from Sydney. Mr. E. C. Harvie, Wellington, was elected an honorary life-member of the New Zealand Body Builders’ Association at its annual meeting recently. Second-Lieutenants J. H. Alp and W. S. F. Moffatt, Wanganui, serving with the 2nd. N.Z.E.F., have been promoted to the rank of lieutenant, according to the New Zealand Gazette. Captain R. G. C. McNab, serving overseas with the 2nd N.Z.E.F., has been promoted to the rank of major. Major McNab is headmaster of ihe John McGlashan College, Dunedin, and was formerly on the teaching staff of the Wanganui Collegiate School from 1920 to 1934.
