(P.A.) Wellington, May 13. The highest gross revenue in the history of the New Zealand Railways was disclosed in the financial statement for the past year, issued by the Railways Minister, the Hon. R. Semple. The gross revenue of £11,938,338 exceeded by £778,120 the figure for th( previous year. The expenditure for the year was £10.056,034 and the net revenue £1,882,304, an increase of £187,660 over the net revenue for the previous year.
