JURY ACQUITS MOTORIST (P.A.) Wellington, May 13 A verdict of not guilty was returnee by the jury in the Supreme Court yes terday in the ease in which Sydnej Lambert Roach, a labourer, employee by the Wellington City Council, wa: charged with negligent, driving causing tne death of lan Ross Biggs, agec 9. The Chief Justice (Sir Michae Myers) was on the Bench. Mr. C. H. Weston, K.C., and Mr. W R. Birks appeared lor the Crown, ane Mr. R. R. Scott for the defence. The accident occurred in Broadway Miramar, at the intersection of Kaur Street. The boy was riding a bicyck out. of Kauri Street and was struck by the accused’s car, receiving injurie: whir-h hr> Hi Of!
