DAILY INTERCESSION
FOR THOSE CARRYING RESPONSIBILITIES Upon the few Thou hast placed the burden of the many; give them needed powers of body, mind, and spirit for their great duties. God save the King, the Queen, the rulers of the Allied nations, and all who have in their hands, under Thee, our fate, our destiny. We commend unto Thee, to Thy ; care and keeping, our loved ones away ’ from home, and all who with them i are fighting on sea, on land, and in : the air, our doctors, nurses, chaplains, and all helpers. Protect them from harm; keep them unshaken in their ; assurance of Thy love, and suffer no ; I fear to destroy their peace. Grant, O ’: God, of Thy great mercy, that we may he re-united with honour untarnished, ■ I duty well done, and faith in Thee con- ' firmed and strengthened, through I Jesus Christ our Lord.
