Pi<£-Corporal J. Meikle was entertainer by fellow members of the Wanganui High! id Pipe Band and friends on Monday night on the eve of his entry to a military camp. Saying that Pipe-Corporal Meikle was the twentieth member of the band to take up arms, Drum-Major D. A. Almond paid a tribute to his sterling services to the band and presented 'him with a money-bolt.
