BULLS WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

The annual general meeting of Bulls Women’s Institute was hold in Clifton Hall, on Monday, March 2. Mrs. EyTes presiding over an attendance of 40. The secretary, Mis. Smart, read the minutes, and her report of the year's work, which showed that much good work had been done during the vear. Mrs. Ross presented a very creditable balance-sheet for the year. Mrs. Huddleston gave a report on the number of parcels sent, to local men of the lighting forces overseas, and of letters of appreciation and thanks received. Mrs. Eyles addressed the meeting and thanked all who had assisted her in her work during the year. The electoin of officers was as follows: President, Mrs. Eyles; \ ice-presidents, Mrs. Huddleston and Mrs. R. Young; secretary Mrs. Smart. For the April meeting members are asked to bring a baby garment lo send to mothers in Eno-]and who have t- use coupons r or purchasing clothing. Those knitting garments for this effort are reauested to use four-ply wool. Knitted skull caps are also wanted for next parcel day. The competitions were: Best bloom. Mrs. Jurgens 1. Mrs. G. Ellery 2; best antirrhinum. Mrs. Ni heringlon 1. Miss Richards 2, Mrs. E. Holmns. senr., 3. Points prize.-, for the year were as follows: Antirrhinum silver cup, presented to Mrs. Vile 1 Mrs. Huddleston 2 Mrs. Res- 3: best bloom. Mrs. Ross 1, Mrs. Smith 2, Mrs. Nitherington 3.
