REGENT THEATRE
Two excellent films screen at tho Regent Theatre to-day. The main film, "Sailors on Leave," concerns the activities of shipmates to marry off one of their number so that ho will inherit a large sum of money. Most of the sailors have a very real personal interest in the matter because o." happenings at one port of call, and they see to it that a marriage lakes place. The star players are William Lundigan and Shirlev Ross. The associate film is “Tho P : ~ Boss.” starring Otto Kruger and Gloria Lickson. The film tells the story of a fearless governor's gallant battle against chaingang slavery in his State. Directed by Charles Barton from the story by Howard J. Green, the film has an outstanding cast of supporting players headed by versatile Don Beddoo. Other featured performers include such favourites as Robert Fiske. George Lessor and Joe Conti.
