HEADMASTER’S REPORT. In his recent report on school matters the headmaster. Mr. J. E. James, stated that the attendance had gradually improved and he was' pleased to be able to report that last week Jieie was an average of 91 per cent., with! 5 out of W i 1 to the m.. he stated that Mr. J. The annual school picnic was, at the last moment, abandoned on account of inclement weather, but the children enjoyed a few hours' freedom at school, where games and races were held. Secondary tuition has been given at the school as transport to Ohakune High School was not possible by school bus. A room was offered to Mr. Charlton of the Ohakune High School, who enrolled now Raetihi entrants and attend: - regularly tn the classes.
