HAWKESTONE GOLF CLUB At. a committee meeting of the Hawkestone Golf Club it was reported that satisfactory arrangements had been made for the opening of the golf season at the club's links on Calico Line. The annual meeting will be held at the Marton Jockey Club’s rooms on Monday, March 23, at 8 p.m. WANGANI I-KAXGITIKEI POWER BOARD Consumers in the Bulls town and Parewanui districts are notified that the power will be cut off on Sunday, March 15, from 1 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. for repair work. C. I Williamson pantomime was staged in New Zealand, and the announcement that, residents of the Marton district arc to witness “Aladdin” of the Wonderful Lamp, at. the Civic Theatre next Tuesday, March 17, will doubtless create a large amount of interest.
