‘Cast not away your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward." For Confidence in God. Almighty God, lead out our full confidence in Thee. We believe Thou are stirred to a righteous wrath as Thou heholdest the fruit of organised hate, unchecked greed, and unrestrained lust. All that is best in us is in Thee multiplied by infinity. May the power of Thy wrath be felt to overthrow tyranny, injustice, and the unspeakable horrors of those drunk with the blood of the innocent 1 and helpless. Keep us this day from ■ weakness and indifference to cruelty and greed, and from all blind and selfish eas" amid the sufferings of our | fellows.—Amen.
