CONTINENT OF EUROPE CANADIAN COMMANDER AND ROOSEVELT (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.) (Rec. 7.5 p.m.) Washington, Mar. 10. Lieutenant-General MacNaughton, Canadian Corps Commander, spent an hour with President Roosevelt, dis- ; cubing plans and prospects, it is reported. for an invasion of the European Continent by the Powers arraigned against the Axis forces. He also conferred with General Marshall and Sir John Dill. Lt.-Gen, MacNaughton, who returned Io Canada early in February, declared that he expects to resume his post in London shortly.
