TAIHAPE EWE FAIR

SUCCESSFUL SALE. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co. Ltd., report a yarding Oi 11,000 sheep at tneir second ewe fair on Wednesday. The general quality of the yarding, both in 2-tooths ana older ewes, was much ahead or our previous lair; there was also a much larger attendance of outside buyers than a fortnight previously, Waikato. Raetihi, Taranaki, Manawatu, Hunterville and Marton districts being well represented. The sale right throughout, was a good one, buyers being out to secure their requirements if possible. Competition was keen on practically every pen submitted and we report a total clearance. The top price lor 2-tooths was 32s Id secured oy Mr. C. P. McCarthy.
