BRITISH ARMY DRIVE
London, March 4. The new British U’ar Minister (Sir Janies Grigg) has called for a general review of the military efficiency of Army officers to ensure that they possess the qualities essential for the strain and speed of modern warfare. The order refers to ail officers over 45 years of age and up to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Recommendations will fall into one of three categories:— For retention in present appointments. For less active work or other employment. For no further employment. Those not retained will he replaced by young officers possessing speed, stamina, determination, and drive.
