Wellington March 5 The action of the Vatican authorities supplying through their radio ser- ’ vice the names of prisoners of war, particularly members of the New > ; Zealand Forces, has given untold r?- ’ lief to numerous anxious relatives and the Dominion executive commit- ■ tee of the N.Z.R S.A.. at a recent meeting, resolved lhat a suitably worded message of appreciation be 1 sent to the Vatican through the appropriate channel. While the majority of the names given in thes n broadcasts have been of those in orison camps in Italy, some names of men prisoners of war in Germany have also been notified.
