PRIX ATE C HARGED WITH THE! i FROM FELLOW SOLDIER (P.A.) Ashburton. March 5. At a court-martial held to-day Pr.vate W. Patterson a member of the Armed Forces, was charged wilh the theft of £25 from a fellow soldier al a southern camp, and also with having received a £5 note knowing that it was stolen. Evidence was given that during a night alarm at the camp the mon n y disappeared from a wallet inadvertently left in a tent. Accused pleaded not guilty. Giving evidence, he admitted nicking up one note, the number of which was known. The finding of the Court will be forwarded to Southern District Head-
