Patterson a member of the Armed Forces, was charged wilh the theft of £25 from a fellow soldier al a southern camp, and also with having received a £5 note knowing that it was stolen. Evidence was given that during a night alarm at the camp the mon n y disappeared from a wallet inadvertently left in a tent. Accused pleaded not guilty.
