“THE POWER AND THE GLORY” The thrilling exploits of the Royal Australian Air Force are romantically pictured in “The Power and the Glory.” an Australian-made picture which will commence at the Majestic Theatre to-day. “The Power and the Glory’’ was made by Argosy Films at i National Studios, Pagewood. and at Figtree, and immediately on completion was previewed by executives of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. who were so impressed with the production that arrangements were entered into whereby this famous distribution company would handle “The Power and the Glory” throughout Australia and New Zealand. Thus, having secured the hallmark of M.G.M.. “The Power and the Glory” has become one of Ihe most outstanding attractions of the year. The flying sequences at the end when bombers and coastal patrol sink an enemy U-boat, provide some of Ihe most exciting incidents ever known in pictures. “The Power and the Glory” stars Katrin Rossellc. diminutive Viennese, who made her stage debut in Australia in “I Mar--1 ried an Angel” and has since emI barked upon a movie career in Hollywood.
