Mitchell, has received advice that uniforms for the company are expected to bp issued on Friday or Saturday this week On Sunday the Wanganui Company provided transport not only for the Eleventh (Wanganui) Company of tne National Military Reserve, but fcr th? Queen Alexandra Mounted Rifles fot tactical exercises. Lieutenant R. ft. Smith had charge of the trucks used by the Reserve and Sergeant K. Tomsett the Mounted Riffes transport. "The Wanganui cumpan> uixently needs motor-c yclibts," haul Captain Mitchell last night. “There are six vacancies and we appeal to owneu of motor-cycles to join up with this vital 1 defence unit. Those who can their services should report to Drill Hall to-morrow night (Wednesday) at 8 o’clock, when full information will be given.”
