Y.M.C.A. BOYS’ CAMP
REGISTRATIONS AT KAI IWI Evidence of the popularity of the annual Y.M.C.A. boys' camp, held at Kai Iwi beach, is furnished by the fact that already 51 registrations have been received, as against 16 up to this stage last year. In all there will be accommodation at tile camp for 100 campers, and it is likely that before registrations close on Monday next the list will be full. The camp is open to boys between the ages of 10 and 17. Boys attending camp will be coming from New Plymouth, Waitotara. Raetihi, Palmerston North and Wanganui, and will be attending for periods ranging from one to three weeks. While at camp boys will be able to qualify for swimming certificates and also camp “emblems.” The latter will be awarded for special tests in athletics, swimming and life-saving, and spiritual, educational and social activities.
