BAN ON USE OF GAS
BRITAIN DECLARES ATTITI DE London. Dec. 9. It is stated authoritatively tihat messages have been sent by the British Government to the Governments of Japan. Finland, Hungary and Rumania. informing them that Britain intends to abide by the gas protocol of the Geneva Convention of June, 1935, and asking for assurances that they would do the same.
