LOWER QUALITY OFFERING THE FEILDING SALE. I (Press Assn.) Feilding, Sept. 26. ,Fat sheep prices were definitely lower to-day, principally because of the lower quality compared with previous ■ sales. ' Store sheep sold at about previous rates. Fat cattle pens were wholly female j beef for which prices were good. I prime cow beef making about 35s per 1 1001 b. i The dairy cattle market was still i brisk, with good prices continuing. I The run cattle market was not active. Some pens were offered, but scarcely . any were sold. Range of Prices.—Fat wethers, I prime, 26s 7d to 29s 4d; good, 25s 4d; light from, 235; fat ewes, prime maiden, 19s lOd; prime ewes, 18s Id to 18s 7d; good, 15s 4d to 16s lOd; light, from Ils; prime hoggets, 29s 4d; good, 26s 7d; with shorn hoggets at about , 6s less than top stores.
