SECOND DEATH
ACCIDENT WHICH TOOK JACK STEEL’S LIFE (Press Assn.) Greymouth, Aug. 10. Charles Jones, aged 33, railway employee, who was severely injured ;n a car accident on South Beach early last Monday morning, when the former All Black, Jack Steel, was killed, died in the Grey Hospital this ulternoon.
Mr, Jones, whose right foot was amputated after the accident, underwent a second operation this morning, but succumbed shortly after his return to tiie hospital ward. He was a former Buller Rugby representative. His parents reside in Westport.
