REGISTRATION IN BRITAIN
GERMANS AND ITALIANS BEST USE OF MANPOWER. London, Aug. 8. 'The Ministry of Labour has announced that, lhe registration of Germans and Italians in Britain will be carried out in the next fortnight. The object of the registration which will be on the same lines as the recent registration of Allied and French nationals. It is to enable the best use to be made of a large body of people who are well disposed to the Allied cause. Every man between the ages of 16 and 65 and every woman between 16 and 50 must register excep: those serving in the forces, prisoners of war and those interned.
