Bell, Wellington, was a recent visitor to Wanganui. Mrs, H. Clr— L of Wanganui, is spending a short holiday in Auckland. Miss E. Matthews, of Palmerston North, who has been staying with her sister. Miss Matthews, Glasgow Street, has returned. « * * • Miss L. Bridgeman, general secretary of the Wellington Young vVomen’s Christian Association, leaves next month to take up the responsible position of general secretary at Singapore. Mrs. H. E. B. Newton and Mrs. N. Bancks, Wanganui, are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin Hammond, “Ngaruru,” Hunterville.
Mrs. Harold Smeliie. Green Island, left Wanganui on Tuesday, where she has been spending a holiday with her mother, Mrs. A. M. Miller, who is accompanying her daughter part of the return journey.
