DEATH OF WANGANUI RESIDENT

MR. N. FULTON, ST. JOHN’S

FORMER CHIEF DAIRY GRADER Mr. N. Fulton, of Ngapuhi Street St. John’s Hill, died yesterday. He was employed by the Dairy Division of the Department of Agriculture-, and was dairy produce grader at New Plymouth for a number of years. During that time he lectured frequently to farmers on dairying matters, not only in Taranaki, but. in the Wanganui district. Mr. Fulton was appointed chief grader at the Port of Wanganui in 1926, where he remained until his retirement about two years ago. His appointment marked a rise in the status of the Port of Wanganui to that of a grading port. A keen Rotarian, Mr. Fulton attended many conferences and was a regular attendant at the Wanganui Rotary Club’s weekly meetings. He was a valued member of the Methodist Church. The late Mr. Dynes Fulton, Hamilton, who was chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, and a member of the New Zealand Dairy Board, was a brother. The funeral takes place at the Aramoho Cemetery this afternoon.
