Mrs. J. W. Pearce. Wellington, was a recent visitor to Wanganui. * * * * Mrs. James Wilson, New Plymouth, who has been on a short visit to Wanganui, returned yesterday. * * * * Mrs. Bamford, Wanganui, is spending a holiday at Ohawe Beach.

Mrs. F. T. Hale, Stratford, is visiting Wanganui, and is staying with her daughter, Mrs. R. J. Gordon.

Mrs. W. S. Rennie, St. John's Hill is visiting Auckland. * * * * Miss Muriel Swann has feturned from Napier, where she spent the holidays with her mother. Miss H. Mcßeth, of Napier, has been spending a holiday in Wanganui as the guests of Mrs. Gordon Mcßeth, Marybank, and Mrs. Donald Mcßeth, Gonville.

Friends of Miss A. Peters, Campbell Street, will be peased to learn that she has recovered from her long illness and left yesterday for a holiday at Hamilton.
