507 FOR LOSS OF SIX WICKETS MATCH WITH OTAGO [ Per Press Association, I DUNEDIN, Feb. 7. A return cricket match between Otago and Canterbury commenced on Carisbrook Park to-day, the wicket being in perlect order and the outfield fast. Canterbury won the ujss ar.d gave a great display of aggressive batting, the total being 507 -'or six wickets at stumps. The Otago bowlers were mastered almost from the start. Otago's hopes rose when Hadlee was dismissed for six, but the second wicket did not fall until the score stood at 169, Cromb just failing to reach the century, his wicket falling for 96. O'Brien gave a polished display in making 112, and Roberts hit hard for 69. Moynihan was less impressive in making 46, and when stumps were drawn James, an exVictorian player, was undefeated with 155 to his credit.
