DISTRICT NURSING LEAGUE

The meeting of the Wanganui District Nursing League was held in St. Paul’s committee room on Monday afternoon, July 5. Those present were Mesdames Siddells (chair), Hair, McGregor, McDougal, Welch, Roche, Warnock, McNab, Misses Fraser and Kennedy. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs. Hanson, Mrs. Peck and Mrs. Lambert.

Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. Sister Lee reported that 570 visits were paid, 17 new' cases, six discharged. four sent to hospital, and two readded. Visitors for the month of August are Mrs. Warnock and Mrs. Hair. Gifts of clothing and old linen were gratefully received and acknowledged from Mrs. Carey, Mrs. Welch, Mrs. Richardson, Mrs. Cullinane, and knitted bedsocks from Westmere Women’s Institute.
