CARD EVENING (Own Correspondent). A very successful card evening was held in the Kohi Hall on Friday, in aid of funds for the Kohi School. The winners of the flag “500" were: Ladies, Misses Betty Hopkinson and Vivienne Hammond; men, Messrs. R. Milne ana C. Oliver. The competition for the Dox of chocolates was won by Mr. C. Oliver. After the cards a dance was held, music being supplied by Messrs. W. Powell and VV. Simson. Among those present were: Mesdames R. Lennox, C. Oliver, G. Harden, B. Lambie, E. Gulliver, B. LADIES’ GOLF On Tuesday the second medal round for Mr. A. A. Thompson's trophy was played. This competition is proving interesting, as the scores returned so far are very close. The final round for this trophy will be played on August 13. Results on Tuesday were. Mrs. I. D. Parsons, 84 —10—74; Miss Mathieson, 96—22 —74; Mrs. K. Honeyheld, 91—16—75; Miss T. Dallison lost to Mrs. Honeylield; Miss Aiken won from Mrs. Rivers; Mrs. Parsons won by default from Mrs. D. Lupton. Mrs. K. Honeyfield plays the winner of Mrs. I. D.
