RULING BY MINISTER REFERENI E TO DEFENCE WORK [ Per Press /association..) AUCKLAND, April 11. As a sequel to members of the Auckland Carpenters’ Union leaving the Whenuapai aerodrome job ana seeking employment in Papakura Camp, the Minister of Public Works, Hon. R. Semple, has ruled that men can only leave one P.W.D. job to take up work on another if the department permits. This refers particularly to defence work.
