MR. SAVAGE’S HEALTH CAUSING CONCERN

WELLINGTON, March 20. A large number of Labour members of the House of Representatives have reached Wellington, and prior to leaving home on Monday they received a telegram from the Deputy-Prime Minister stating that the Prime Minister’s health was giving cause for concern. Their presence in Wellington is not, however, primarily due to this development, as a number are serving on committees preparing for the general conference of the party opening on Easter Monday. The medical advisers of Mr. Savage announced to-day that he had rather a restless night and that his condition is causing some concern.
