Members on Active Service.
It was decided by the annual meeting of the Wanganui A. and P. Association yesterday to grant members on active service leave of absence and allow them to retain full membership privileges while serving their country.
The executive is to consider granting similar leave to any executive mem- ■ bers who enlist. It was reported that • Mr. C. R. Leach, Westmere, a memi ber o£ the committee, who was one of I the first to enlist after the outbreak i of war. has now received word that . he will be required to go into camp.
