HUGE FINANCIAL MERGER
DEVELOPMENT OF AVIATION. Received March 18, 6.5 p.m. NEW YORK, March 18. The merger of the Curtis and Atlas Companies is the largest financial development in avialion history. The companies state it was to enable full advantage to be taken of the wartime boom and also provide 26,500,000 dollars liquid capital for development of peacetime aviation.
