BOWLING
COSMOPOLITAN CLUB SHIELD AND BANNER GAMES The Cosmopolitan Bowling Club will be represented in Shield and Banner games on Saturday of next week, when the following rinks wiil represent the club:— Shield game at Cosmopolitan green: Ry burn, Overend, F. Benson, Tabart, Holden, Turner, Drake, Johnston; Gurney, Powell, Tullock, Lauchland. Banner game at St. John’s green: Stroud, Stansfield, Gow, Bridges; O'Reilly, Mancer, Leigh, Willis; Goss, Lourie, Watson, Coxon. Games will be arranged for those not selected on the Cosmopolitan green. These games will count in the progressive fours. WANGANUI EAST CLUB RINKS FOR FEILDING Wanganui East Bowling Club rinks have been arranged to play in the allday visit to the Oroua Club at Feilding next Monday (Anniversary Day). Cars leave the green at 8 a.in. The following rinks have been selected:— Larsen, Dann, Bamford, Jones. Martin, Stanton, Bamber, Black. Ellis, Gray, Heinold, Purnell. Curtis, Otto, Colman, Haworth. Benge, Tate, Webby, McDougall.
