All wore tiny hats of rucked sheer finished with ribbons to match tied under the chin. The effect ot the rainbow was completed by the beautiful shower bouquets or tiny pink rosebuds and carnations which they carried. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. D. Ciochetto as best man assisted by Pat Davis, brother of the bnue, and Winscone Pearce and Harry Tucker. The wedding breakfast was held in St. Joseph’s Hall where guests numbering about 80 partook of a sumptuous repast. The guests were received by Mis. Davis, mother of tne bride, wearing a smartly cut dark navy embossed silk dress, with hat and gloves to match and carrying a beautiful bouquet of sweet peas: In me evening friends again met in tne hall and paid tribute to the esteem in which the family is held, the hall being taxed to its utmost capacity over 200 well wishers being present. The happy couple were present for a short time, when advantage was taken to encircle them to sing “Foi They are Jolly Good Fellows,’ after which they left by car for the south where the honeymoon will be spent. The wedding presents were numerous and varied including many substantial cheques and were on view at the home of the bride. Their future home is to be at Tawata, Taumarunui.
