BEATEN TO DEATH
GERMAN CONSUL-GENERAL’S SECRETARY HAPPENING IN NEW YORK. Received. Dec. 7, 8.20 p.m. NEW YORK, Dec. 6. The German Consul-General’s secretary, Dr. Walter Engelberg, was beaten to death with an axe and hammer in his own home in the Jewisc section of Brooklyn. The police are searching for a Ger-man-speaking man sharing the home.
