EVENING SPORTS AT BULLS

GOOD FIELDS COMPETE RESULTS OF WEDNESDAY’S MEETING A fine evening, good fields, and the presence of the Feilding Pipe Band, all combined to attract a large crowd to the Domain on Wednesday evening when the first open sports meeting was held by the Bulls-Ohakea Club. A good number of men from fht R.N.Z. Air Force at Ohakea were present, and a special race was put on for them, drawing a good field, and providing a popular win for E. T. Sargisson, a runner well above the average, as he proved in open sprints at the gathering. All the officials present worked well, but times were only taken in a few events.
