PARENTS MEET EVACUATED CHILDREN HAPPY SCENES IN RECEPTION AREA I British Official Wireless.J RUGBY. Dpc. 4 “Reunion Day” passed off happily and successfully when some 5000 'parents and friends visited children in safe areas. Many special trains loft London taking visitors to towns in the reception areas, and queues for trains were formed as early as 7 a.m. At all stations within the areas groups of happy children expectantly awaiting the train. For many it was the first meeting with their parents since the outbreak of war. Parties reminiscent of Christmas were held.
