CRICKET
COLLEGIATE SCHOOL GAMES TWO BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS. Cricket is by no means over for the year for members ot the Wanganui Collegiate School first eleven, two important inter-school fixtures having yet to be played. On Wednesday and Thursday of next week, December 13 and 14, the first eleven of Wellington College will visit Wanganui to play Collegiate. The Wellington team will arrive on Tuesday and will be entertained informally at the school. The following week, on Monday and Tuesday, December 18 and 19, the Collegiate first eleven will play Christ’s College’in Christchurch. This is a return match, as last year Christ College played Collegiate in Wanganui. The Collegiate team will leave Wanganui on the Saturday, December 16, and return on the Tuesday after the match.
