I In the attractive grounds ol Mrs. H. j Collier's residence, St. John’s Hill, the (Westmere Presbyterian Church are i organising a garden party and sale of (produce on Saturday afternoon, December 9. Cars will meet at the corner of Brassey Road and the main road the tramway bus, which leaves the post office, Wanganui, at 2.30 p.m. ' Gas Cooking Demonstration. ! Next Friday, December 8, at 2.30 p.m., a free demonstration of gas cooking will be given in the gas department’s demonstration hall. Christmas fare, cakes and cold lunch will be featured, and a three-course dinner cooked in the one oven.
