EMPIRE CHRISTMAS DAY BROADCAST
SAME SCALE AS IN PREVIOUS YEARS. [ British Official Wirelecß. ] RUGBY, Dec. 3. The 8.8. C. announces that its Christmas Day Empire broadcast, culminating in a speech by the King, will be on the same scale as in previous years. Th? programme will include a microphone tour of South England, Midlands, Wales, North England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, followed. it is hoped, by items representing ail three fighting services. Sneakers from Canada, Australia, New Zealand. India, and South Africa will follow and Malaya will represent ' the Colonial Empire.
