COUCHMAN-McKENZIE.

A graceful gown of white satin I fashioned on slim-fitting lines, was worn by Ila Jean, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. T. McKenzie, when she was married recenly to Alfred Arthur, second son of Mr. W. Couchman and the late Mrs. Couchman. Mauve and blue arum lilies, wisteria 1 and cherry blossom were arranged in I St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church for the ' ceremony which was performed by > the Rev. A. C. McLean. The.bride’s gown featured a heart- : shaped neckline, corselet waistband ' finished with tiny buttons on each ' side, and a skirt forming a long train. ; and adorned with tiny sprigs of orange blossom. The neckline a?..1 long sleeves were edged with a tiny frill of pleated tulle. Her veil was caught to the head with two carnations and she carried a shower bouquet of lily of Ihe valley and cream roses. The bridesmaids were Misses Rhoda Robertson and Thelma Bergen, and they wore frocks cut on similar lines as the bride’s, but in mauve ./aded georgette, with puff sleeves and trimmings of silver tassels at Ihe neckline. Their headdresses were Juliet caps and they carried shower bouquets of cyclamen shaded flowers. During the signing of the register Mr. Colin Franklin-Browne sang “O Promise Me ” As the bride left the church she was presented with a silver horseshoe by i Miss Elva Robertson. Mr. Colin Muir carried out the duties of best man. Mr. lan Stewart McKenzie (bride's twin brother) groomsman and Mr. McKenzie, the bride's father escorted his daughter into the church. Following the ceremony a reception was held al lhe Rendezvous, where the bride's moth' i received the guests, wearing a smart bli.r tailored cos--1 lump, navy accessories and skunk I stole.
